Jesus before Pilate

Jesus was led before Pontius Pilate. The Jewish priests accused him, saying: "He claimed to be Christ the King." Pilate asked him: "Are you the King of the Jews?". Jesus answered: "I am a King, but my kingdom is not of this world." Although Pilate did not believe he was guilty, out of fear of the Jews who shouted "Crucify him!", he condemned him.

The Crowning with Thorns and Way to Calvary

The soldiers placed a crown of thorns and a reed in his right hand. Pilate presented him to the people, saying "Here is the man" (Ecce Homo). Afterward, they loaded Jesus with the cross on the way to Golgotha. Since he could not do it alone, they forced Simon of Cyrene to help him.
